I would like to create a Sherlock fan fiction awards. In order for me to do this I need help from you…the fandom. I need everyone who reads this to send me their top 5 favorite fanfics. It doesn’t matter if it’s porn, epic, humor, AU or what the OTP is. I will tally the results and post my findings.

 I would love to offer a reward of some sort to go along with this honor, maybe some kind of graphic or art piece to accompany the winning pieces. Anyone who would like to help me with this please message me.

 As I get results, I will post categories with choices and take votes on each. Then go through and tally everything. I hope to have this ready and done by Christmas, so I can release the results in the first week of January.

The fics that I write will not be eligible because that wouldn’t be right. I am more interested in bringing some recognition to the writers who inspire us all most, rather than getting some for myself.

I hadn't heard of this until now, but I think it is such a great idea!
I stopped reading fanfiction stories when I started to write some, so it's been a while since I last read any - about 8 months now. But I still had time to have a few favourite stories back then, so I'm happy to be able to participate in this, and perhaps bring the authors some recognition.

My casefic The Adventure of the Dashboard box is currently being re-betaed and I am working on the final version for the e-book. The wonderful zielona-fabryka already contributed to illustrating it, by giving a beautiful portrait for each of the seven chapters. RazSketch and mushroom2020 were point commissioned on DA to illustrate respectively chapter 1 and chapter 6.

Ideally, I would need five more illustrations so each chapter has two, but more importantly: I need an illustrator for the cover! I understand this would be a lot of work, especially for those who haven't read the story (but it is rather short!), and because it would certainly include several characters, a specific composition, etc. But would anyone be interested? Or do you know any artist who would be interested? As I doubt anyone would want to contribute such a piece, naturally I'd be happy to discuss point remuneration on DA (I am sorry to say I just do not have the money to pay thirty euros for a piece, so I can only afford working with generous people you must understand it isn't because I believe your work isn't worth it! Rather, I like to consider this a common project. The e-book will be the result of the work of several Sherlock fans, to share freely with all Sherlock fans.)

I AM OFFICIALLY LOOKING FOR ARTISTS from the SHERLOCK FANDOM to be illustrators in a Sherlock Fanfiction E-book project.

I am planning on turning my stories into e-books once they're finished, and am currently looking for fellow fans who would be interested in illustrating them.
Of course the e-books will be free in the end, since this is fanfiction - but I thought it'd be easier to download the whole thing, and I found it nice to have illustrations just like Sidney Paget illustrated Arthur Conan Doyle's original books - plus, it'd be something fun to share with the whole fan community

So I have finally completed one multi-chaptered story, and intend to turn it into an e-book that would be more easily downloadable - BUT: I am looking for illustrators! I don't have any money right now so I won't be able to pay you that way, but I can give you points, or a virtual hug!
Eventually, I am thinking of putting this story in a general compilation named Sherlock's (and John's) 21st Century Adventures (Investigations), in which I would put all my 'Adventure of' stories (whcih were all requests for SH Week 2012).
